Course Descriptions
All of our courses are taught on a participative basis. A strong emphasis is
placed on the principles of teamwork and participative management. Leadership
skills are stressed along with giving the students the tools and techniques
necessary to be successful Project Managers. Lecture, exercises, case studies,
team building exercises, demonstrations and student presentations are all used
in our courses of study.

Preparing for the PMP Examination - This class is 5 intensive days
covering the basics and some of the advanced topics of Project Management.
The course covers all of the material that is required for the PMP
Certification Examination.
The class is made up of lecture, case studies and practice examinations and
many practice exercises for the students. Since the Guide to the Project
Management Body of Knowledge is a guideline for the tools and techniques of
Project Management, this course thoroughly covers the basics of
project management and much advanced material as well.
The intention of this course is to prepare students to work in the project
management profession and give them the guidance to study for and pass the
PMP Certification Examination. The course is not simply an examination
preparation course, but a comprehensive course of study to prepare to
practice and use Project Management.

Project Management for Executives - This is a 2 day course designed to
demonstrate to upper level management the benefits of initiating solid
project management principles in their organizations.

Financial Management for Project Managers - This is a 3 day course that covers the
basics of Finance and Accounting for Project Managers. It is essential that
Project Managers know and understand the fundamentals of Finance and
thoroughly understand the details of project cost management.

| Foolproof Estimating! - This 2 day seminar is
aimed at giving the project manager the tools and capabilities to correctly
estimate the schedules and costs of any project in an integrated way.
Consideration is given to managing consistently with the techniques used in
project management software. Critical Path, PERT, Monte Carlo and other
techniques are used.

Risk is a Four Letter Word! - This is a course that covers the area of Risk
Management in 3 days. Since the area of Risk Management is based largely on
the study of uncertainty occurring in projects, probability and statistical
theories and their application are also covered.

Quality Management for Project Managers - This 3 day seminar covers the area
of quality management in projects. It is essential for project managers to
ensure that projects are managed in a way to ensure first class quality
results. This course covers the concepts and details of statistical quality
control as well as continuous quality control methods of Total Quality
Management.
